WHAT FACIAL SHOULD I GET?
When determining the best facial to get for your skin type and lifestyle, our providers at Haus of Aesthetics highly recommend scheduling a complimentary consultation with one of our Licensed Master Aestheticians before your first skincare treatment. It is at this consultation you and your provider will discuss pre and post-care for your first treatment and what to expect as far as “downtime” if there is any. There are many different types of facials that can be customized to fit your desired results. During the consultation process, your provider will ask you a series of questions regarding your concerns, genetic background, medical history, and go over your current at-home product regimen. After assessing your skin, it is then your provider can answer your question, “What type of facial do I need?”. This is also an opportunity for us to build a relationship with you. TYPES OF FACIAL TREATMENTS
We offer many different facials that are considered to be the best types of facials for your skin concerns. For example, chemical peels can be the best spa facial for acne. By speeding cellular turnover and exfoliating the skin, chemical peels can improve the appearance of acne and fine lines after just a few treatments. The type of chemical peel, and how many will all be determined in your consultation. When treating hyperpigmentation or sun damage, chemical peels may also be used. Adding to that, laser treatments are a highly beneficial way to treat unwanted dark spots and improve overall skin complexion. The Hydrafacial and Diamond Glow treatments can be the best type of facial for blackheads and other extractions! These two treatments are also a great place to start your skincare journey, and perfect right before events! Overall, the best “starter facials” tend to be less aggressive, but can be made more intense with add ons. These facials include DermaplanePro, LED Light Therapy, Hydrafacial, Diamond Glow, and Haus Special. WHAT IS LASER HAIR REMOVAL?
Laser hair removal is the most advanced and effective way of removing hair on the body. How does laser hair removal work? It is a medical treatment that uses a concentrated beam of light (laser) to remove unwanted hair. During the laser hair removal process, the laser damages the hair follicle to delay future hair growth. At Haus of Aesthetics, we have highly trained master estheticians that perform our laser hair removal treatments and we offer a laser that is safe and effective to treat all skin types and tones. We are even able to treat excessive hair growth due to conditions such as Hirsutism and Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS). We use the most advanced technology to get you the best results.
HOW MANY SESSIONS FOR LASER HAIR REMOVAL?
The amount of laser hair removal sessions you will need may vary. It is dependent on a few things, like the amount of hair in the area, the coarseness of the hair, and hormones that can play a part. We recommend a series of 12 treatments spaced 4-6 weeks apart over a year for optimal results. It is very important to be consistent with your series of 12 treatments. A common question asked is how long does laser hair removal work? It will work forever. Again, consistency is key. You need to be consistent with how frequently you come in for your treatments. If you wait 6 months in between treatments, your results may suffer due to the length of time in between appointments. That being said, it is never too late to start back up your laser hair removal journey and be consistent with your treatments.
DOES LASER HAIR REMOVAL LAST FOREVER?
Laser hair removal, how long does it last? It lasts forever. However, we do advise you to come in periodically for touch-ups to maintain your results. After the first initial 12 treatments, everyone’s touch-up cycle looks a little different. Some people need a touch-up once a year, and some like to come every few months. It is entirely up to you and your needs. Our touch-up pricing is very affordable for all areas. Touch-up pricing starts as low as $25, and the pricing varies depending on the number of areas that we are treating.
LASER HAIR REMOVAL DURATION
The size and amount of treatment areas will depend on the duration of your appointment. You can expect to be at the Haus of Aesthetics for anywhere from 30-90 minutes. We try to be quick, thorough, and effective with our treatments. During your appointment, you can expect your technician to clean the treatment area, ask about any changes since your last treatment, give you protective glasses to wear, and then begin treating. Common treatment areas are underarms, legs, bikini, face, and Brazilian. However, we can treat just about everywhere on the body.
