CoolSculpting Elite vs CoolSculpting
CoolSculpting Elite vs. CoolSculpting: which treatment is better? What are the differences? We know CoolSculpting is one of the most innovative fat reduction treatments available today. Since 2010, countless people chose to freeze away their stubborn fat with CoolSculpting. Now, the same makers of CoolSculpting are introducing a new treatment: CoolSculpting Elite.
Read on to learn more about each treatment and determine which fat-freezing method is best for your body.
CoolSculpting Elite vs CoolSculpting | Treatment Experiences
CoolSculpting has FDA clearance for reducing fat deposits using non-invasive cooling technology. An applicator gently suctions the skin up into the device during treatments, exposing the fat cells underneath the skin to cool temperatures. As a result, the fat cells crystallize. Their cell membrane becomes hard and brittle—eventually rupturing and dying. Weeks after your fat freezing treatment with CoolSculpting, the body initiates a natural immune response. The lymphatic system gathers those dead cells and processes them out of the body.
The new CoolSculpting Elite uses the same cooling technology. However, it features new upgrades, making it a true contender for the most popular fat-freezing method on the market.
Understanding CoolSculpting Elite
CoolSculpting Elite offers many new features. First, the re-engineered applicators now allow technicians to freeze twice the amount of fat. Best of all, they freeze more fat cells in less time. The applicators also have a larger cooling panel to treat more fat cells at once. Each applicator comes in various sizes with a more ergonomic design, making fat-freezing more comfortable. Treatments with CoolSculpting Elite applicators allow the technician to contour the body without pain or discomfort.
The new treatment also has FDA clearance to treat fat non-invasively in nine areas of the body from head to knee. The treatment areas include the love handles, abdomen, armpits, below the buttocks, upper arms, the back, fat above the knee, double chins, and inner and outer thighs.
One of the biggest differences between treatments is the dual applicator capability. The original CoolSculpting could only target one area on the body at a time using a single applicator and machine. To achieve dual sculping with the original CoolSculpting, you would have to use two different machines at the same time. CoolSculpting Elite takes the hassle away by providing dual applicators. This allows patients to achieve more fat reduction in less time during one convenient cooling cycle.

WHAT FACIAL SHOULD I GET?
When determining the best facial to get for your skin type and lifestyle, our providers at Haus of Aesthetics highly recommend scheduling a complimentary consultation with one of our Licensed Master Aestheticians before your first skincare treatment. It is at this consultation you and your provider will discuss pre and post-care for your first treatment and what to expect as far as “downtime” if there is any. There are many different types of facials that can be customized to fit your desired results. During the consultation process, your provider will ask you a series of questions regarding your concerns, genetic background, medical history, and go over your current at-home product regimen. After assessing your skin, it is then your provider can answer your question, “What type of facial do I need?”. This is also an opportunity for us to build a relationship with you. We want to see your amazing results, just as much as you do, and we are grateful to work with you!
TYPES OF FACIAL TREATMENTS
We offer many different facials that are considered to be the best types of facials for your skin concerns. For example, chemical peels can be the best spa facial for acne. By speeding cellular turnover and exfoliating the skin, chemical peels can improve the appearance of acne and fine lines after just a few treatments. The type of chemical peel, and how many will all be determined in your consultation. When treating hyperpigmentation or sun damage, chemical peels may also be used. Adding to that, laser treatments are a highly beneficial way to treat unwanted dark spots and improve overall skin complexion. The Hydrafacial and Diamond Glow treatments can be the best type of facial for blackheads and other extractions! These two treatments are also a great place to start your skincare journey, and perfect right before events! Overall, the best “starter facials” tend to be less aggressive, but can be made more intense with add ons. These facials include DermaplanePro, LED Light Therapy, Hydrafacial, Diamond Glow, and Haus Special. Our more aggressive treatments provided by our Aestheticians are Microneedling, Chemical Peels, IPL Photofacial, Resolve, and Fraxel laser resurfacing. Our receptionists are very knowledgeable and can help you get scheduled for your consultation and treatment. Which type of Chemical Peel is best for me?
WHAT ARE CHEMICAL PEELS?
WHAT’S THE BEST TYPE OF PROFESSIONAL SKIN PEEL?
WHAT KIND OF CHEMICAL PEEL SHOULD I GET?
AT HAUS OF AESTHETICS, WE HAVE 3 LEVELS OF THE BEST PROFESSIONAL CHEMICAL PEELS:
- Basic Chemical peels are a great place to start. You will see the best results with a series of multiple peels. Basic Chemical Peels produce a minimal amount of peeling, and in some cases, no peeling at all! You’re truly glowing after a basic chemical peel, Great for someone who is looking for little to no downtime. These peels help with fine lines, dryness, acne, and minor pigmentation concerns.
- Intermediate Chemical peels penetrate deeper into the skin for more dramatic results. Intermediate peels come with mild to moderate peeling. These peels are for someone who’s ready to see results, with minimal downtime. Peeling usually starts on day 2 post peel and can last up to 5 days. On top of the concerns that basic peels can treat, intermediate peels are amazing for acne scars, hyperpigmentation, and wrinkles.
- Advanced Chemical peels will slough off the dull, damaged top layer of skin, revealing a smoother more even complexion. Advanced peels give our most drastic results. These peels are best for someone who is committed and ready to peel. Peeling usually starts on day 3 post peel and can last 7-10 days. Pigmentation and sunspots can darken and slough off with the peeling process. Advanced peels are the best for those with darker pigmentation, deep wrinkles, and advanced scarring. This type is also the best chemical peel for sagging skin.
What to expect?
- All chemical peels require that you limit sun exposure the week prior to and after treatment
- Discontinue use of tanning products, active skincare products such as Salicylic acid, Glycolic acid, Tretinoin and Retinoids
- Consistent at-home skincare is so important with any chemical peel. We always have recommendations if you’re not sure where to start!
- Last but not least, always wear a medical-grade SPF!
