HOW DOES TATTOO REMOVAL WORK?

This laser gets its name from the ultra-short pulses it emits, known as picoseconds. The pulses are made of energy — not heat — to help minimize scarring or side effects while speeding up healing. As one of our skilled technicians moves the laser over your unwanted tattoo, it targets the ink deep in your skin and breaks it up into microscopic pieces that are easily eliminated by your body. This is how tattoo removal works to clear your unwanted ink.

HOW MUCH DOES TATTOO REMOVAL COST IN UTAH?

We typically suggest 6 to 12 appointments, spaced eight weeks apart, for the best tattoo removal results; however, you may need fewer or more appointments based on your tattoo. We offer affordable tattoo removal membership programs that include all appointments needed to remove your unwanted tattoo. Our pricing tiers are based on tattoo size and range from $1,500 for a small tattoo to $6,000 for large tattoos. You can meet with our team to discuss your tattoo removal and determine the right membership program for your needs.

DOES TATTOO REMOVAL HURT?

Permanent tattoo removal is not exactly comfortable, but fortunately, older methods were more painful than newer methods. The PICOWay laser uses extremely short and targeted pulses, meaning it gets to the ink faster and the laser is used for a shorter time. Less time leads to less pain! However, just as getting a tattoo hurts more on bonier parts of the body, the same is true for laser tattoo removal. The laser may feel less comfortable the closer it gets to a bone. Additionally, most tattoo removal professionals use a numbing cream to make the procedure more comfortable. After your laser tattoo removal service, the lasered site may be red and swollen while feeling slightly bruised. This feeling may last for a day or two before subsiding.
